Octopus Energy and myenergi are joining forces to create an intelligent and sustainable energy supply for electric cars. At the centre of this partnership is the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff from Octopus Energy (eMove360° Award winner 2024 in the Charging & Energy category) and the zappi wallbox from myenergi. zappi enables homeowners to charge their electric car with both solar power from their photovoltaic system and cheap green electricity from the grid. This environmentally friendly combination offers an excellent opportunity to save costs while protecting the environment.
From now on, myenergi customers can benefit from the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff and purchase green electricity at a favourable price. Intelligent Octopus Go cleverly combines the favourable time slots for car electricity with the Intelligent Octopus automatic charging service. Car owners conveniently set the charging preference for their electric car in advance in the Octopus Energy app. Intelligent Octopus then connects to the car during each charging process and creates a charging plan customised to the driver’s individual needs. Customers benefit from a favourable Smart Charge rate of a maximum of 20 cents per kWh for every charge.

With an unbeatably low price and our intelligent optimisation in the background, we are up to 70% cheaper than the basic suppliers with their standard tariffs. We are delighted to now be able to offer this service to myenergi customers. ’

The integration of Intelligent Octopus Go into the zappi charging infrastructure was first introduced in England in November 2023. Following the successful launch, the two companies are now expanding their collaboration to the German market and reaffirming their commitment to innovative and sustainable energy solutions for a greener future.
