Polestar 3 Guinness World Record

935.44 kilometers on one charge: Guinness World Record for Polestar 3

The Polestar 3 electric SUV has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled by an electric SUV on a single charge: 935.44 km. The Long Range Single Motor variant achieved this new record after a 22-hour, 57-minute test in changeable weather, including rain. Fuel consumption was 12.1 kWh/100 km. Efficiency drivers Sam Clarke, Kevin Booker, and Richard Parker took turns every three hours to maintain concentration. The WLTP range was 706 km with 20 percent battery capacity remaining; after zero percent, the display showed 13 kilometers of remaining range before a charging station was found in time. The production SUV was monitored by Guinness World Record adjudicator Paulina Sapinska. Webfleet provided detailed, validated video footage, mileage, GPS data, and battery health measurements. No modifications were made to the vehicle during the test; It was fitted with standard 20-inch wheels and Michelin Sport 4 EV tires. The campaign was supported by the AA Roadside Assistance for safety and assistance if needed. Matt Galvin, Managing Director of Polestar UK, said: “While drivers pushed the Polestar 3 to the limits of its range, the results demonstrate how battery range has improved exponentially in recent years. A large premium SUV that can travel well beyond the distance from London to Edinburgh is impressive. The misconception that electric cars can’t go far is now a thing of the past.”
