NIO will hold “NIO Berlin 2022”, its European launch event, in Berlin on 7 October. The event is themed “A New Horizon” and will be livestreamed worldwide at 6pm Central European Time. In May last year, NIO announced its first step into the global market with its launch in Norway.

In September 2021, the first NIO House outside of China opened in Oslo. This year, market entries in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark are now imminent.
NIO Power Europe
An important milestone for the market entry in Europe was the commissioning of the Hungarian production facility of NIO Power Europe. The plant is NIO’s first production facility outside China and is also a manufacturing, service, research and development centre. On 16 September, the first NIO Power Swap Station (PSS) was delivered from there to Germany. www.nio.com
