Ampere: Anne-Catherine Brieux operational manager at Renault’s e-car division

Anne-Catherine Brieux has taken over operational management of the four plants in northern France at Renault’s e-car division Ampere as of August 1. She is responsible for the Douai, Maubeuge, Ruitz sites, which form the ElectriCity center, and the Cléon industrial site, as well as Ampere’s purchasing, quality, production engineering, supply chain and IT functions. Anne-Catherine Brieux becomes a member of the Ampere Leadership Team and reports to Luca de Meo, CEO of Ampere. Brieux succeeds Luciano Biondo, who has left the company.

Brieux joined Renault in 1997 after graduating from INSA Rouen as a production engineer at the Cléon plant. Two years later, she joined the engineering teams, where she led major product standardization projects within the Renault-Nissan Alliance. In 2006, Anne-Catherine took responsibility for an engine design office at the Mechanical plant, where she led and integrated the first decentralized engine design in the plant for the Duster project. After 12 years in engine design and development, Anne-Catherine moved to manufacturing in April 2011, where she first took responsibility for an engine assembly department and then for mechanical machining at the Cléon plant. After serving as Deputy Plant Manager, she took over the management of the Renault Motores plant (Valladolid, Spain) in 2017 and then the management of the Palencia plant. In 2023, she became Director of Quality Strategy, Suppliers and Development within the Renault Group Quality Department. Source
