Automated Driving & Electronics

Mobilty is entering a new level – it is becoming Mobility 4.0. The car transforms into a new center of our lives in addition to home and workplace.

Driving itself is no longer a mere necessity but turns into a new productive “quality time”. Real-time data communication between cars and infrastructure makes traffic predictable, traffic jams and accidents can be avoided. By connecting with the physical and digital environment vehicles evolve to fully digitalized mobility, information and communication platforms. Today’s production cars can’t be seen as offline devices anymore: they contain a more complex software code than a space shuttle. Up to 70 computers collect tons of driving informations and process as much as 25 gigabytes per hour when the cars is in use. Technologies like lane keeping and brake assistance systems have been standard features of new vehicles for a long time. Automated and connected driving unites these systems and is the next level. At the same time, challenges regarding the data protection as well as operations and data security are evolving continuously.

Therefore, we have launched eMove360° – International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 as a platform upon which we bring together – in an application and demand focused way – both hardware and software as well as electronics for the New Mobility.
