Our battery systems meet the highest quality, safety and performance standards, are manufactured not only with low development costs combined with efficient mass production, but also have an outstanding product life and low unit prices. Under the umbrella of the Webasto Group, we enable our customers to coordinate with us directly via a single interface and provide them with access to our worldwide production sites. This empowers us to offer customized production lines close to the customer for all series volumes. In order to further advance the change to e-mobility and to exploit the full potential for our customers, we are constantly working on expanding our product portfolio to include additional vehicle applications.
Studied Electronics Systems Engineering at the University for Applied Science in Augsburg, Germany, and the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, as well as Renewable Energy Systems Technology at the University of Loughborough, England. In 2005 he started working for Daimler AG in several positions in the fields of technology management and electric drivetrains. In 2015 he became Manager Product Safety for Li-Ion batteries at the Accumotive GmbH & Co. KG, a 100% subsidiary of Daimler AG, before changing to Valmet Automotive in 2018 as Senior Manager Battery Systems Development. In 2019 he joined the Webasto Group as Business Unit Engineering Manager and is responsible for technical customer requests and the lead engineering of automotive battery systems.
