Beate Bungartz becomes new member of the Mahle Group Management Board

The Mahle Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Beate Bungartz (53) as a new member of the Group Management Board with responsibility for Human Resources and as Labor Director. Bungartz comes from Kautex Textron GmbH & Co. KG, Bonn. She succeeds Anke Felder (50), who has successfully held this position since January 1, 2020, and has decided not to extend her contract, which expires on December 31, 2022.

Since the end of 2012, Dr. Beate Bungartz has been Executive Vice President responsible for Human Resources at automotive supplier Kautex Textron GmbH & Co. KG – a company of the US conglomerate Textron, for which she is also a member of the Textron HR Leadership Team. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President Human Resources at Bilfinger Berger SE, where she was in charge of Human Resources for the Power Services subgroup. She previously worked for the French Cegelec Group, based in Paris and Brussels, where she held various management positions from 2003 to 2010. Most recently, as Vice President Human Resources, she headed the Human Resources department of a business division of the plant manufacturer, which is now part of the Vinci Group. Born in the Rhineland, she also held management positions in Human Resources and Inhouse Consulting at Deutsche Telekom. www.mahle.com
