Global IT company FPT has announced the extension of its strategic partnership with IONITY, the leading pan-European high-performance charging network for electric vehicles. The goal: to optimise network management, increase efficiency and provide an even better user experience for electric car drivers in Europe.
FPT supports IONITY with comprehensive SAP implementations and IT services including consulting, software development, testing and support. FPT’s best-shore model ensures that the services are predominantly provided in the offshore centres, complemented by support from the nearshore teams. The offshore locations enable IONITY to optimise the use of FPT’s global talent pool, resulting in both cost savings and an increase in service quality.
FPT’s proven best-shore model combines offshore, nearshore and onsite resources. This enables flexible, efficient support – regardless of where in the world the challenges lie. FPT has sixteen locations in Europe, with offices in Germany, France, the UK, Denmark and Sweden. In addition, there are nearshore locations in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Romania as well as offshore centres in Vietnam.

Since the start of the partnership in 2021, FPT has supported IONITY with SAP services and digital solutions. The cooperation was extended in 2023 to further increase service quality and efficiency. The extension underlines the joint commitment to sustainable mobility and innovative charging technologies in Europe.
