The start-up Brugg eConnect AG is active in electromobility in the field of high power charging and sets new standards in terms of safety and robustness with the “Compact” charging plug. The “Compact” charging plug is the first plug in the world to be IP69 certified. This means that our world innovation meets the highest technically feasible standard of all and is therefore resistant to hydrolysis, microbes, UV and ozone. The connector owes its special robustness to its housing, which is injection-molded with thermoplastic polyurethane directly around the contact points and onto the cable sheath. Since the plug is made of material throughout, the housing can even be rolled over by a truck without being damaged.
