BYD has announced that it will locate its European headquarters in Budapest, Hungary, and build a new European research and development centre there. Under the agreement, two specific research and development projects will initially be initiated with significant investment. The first project will focus on the further integration of smart technologies into modern mobility, while the second will contribute to the development of advanced next-generation electrification technologies.
