About Session
Mobility is entering a new dimension. For more than a century, transportation innovation has focused primarily on improving how people and goods move on the ground. Today, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) is opening the possibility to move beyond the limitations of roads and use the third dimension as part of an integrated mobility ecosystem.
This keynote explores how AAM could transform the way we move by enabling new forms of passenger transport, logistics, emergency response, regional connectivity, and specialized missions. Rather than replacing ground transportation, future aerial mobility will complement existing mobility networks and create new connections where conventional infrastructure reaches its limits.
However, realizing this vision requires more than new aircraft concepts. Future AAM vehicles must combine efficiency, compactness, maneuverability, precise control, safety, and low-noise operation while addressing the very different requirements of emerging use cases.
The presentation will examine how new propulsion architectures can help meet these challenges and will introduce CycloRotor technology as one approach to enabling highly controllable and versatile electric aircraft configurations.
Ultimately, the transition from roads to three-dimensional mobility is not simply about flying vehicles. It is about rethinking how transportation systems are designed, connected, and integrated and creating a future in which mobility is no longer constrained by the road.
