About Stephan Dengler
Stephan Dengler is the founder and CEO of chargeIQ GmbH. This independent software company offers operators and resellers software—which now covers nearly 10,000 charging points—to automate operational processes. chargeIQ addresses the operational challenges of e-mobility in everyday life: who is authorized to charge, whether the hardware is functioning, and how electricity is billed correctly. This also includes reimbursing home charging costs for company car drivers.
Dengler took his first steps in the charging infrastructure sector in 2018 as a co-founder of chargeIQ, a SaaS solution for sharing charging points. Prior to that, he worked at a major OEM as a quality project engineer for new-product-launch projects. Dengler studied technology-oriented business administration at the University of Stuttgart (M.Sc.). In his master’s thesis, he examined how technical and social change gives rise to new business models in the automotive industry—a topic he is now shaping himself.
