Eliso: Niels Christ part of the dual leadership

The operator of public fast-charging infrastructure eliso is restructuring its management: Starting in September 2025, Niels Christ will lead the company as CEO. Together with Robert Straube, who has been managing the company from Berlin since March 2024, he will form the dual leadership of eliso. Founder and current CEO Johannes Brodführer will leave the company at the end of September. Johannes Brodführer founded eliso in 2016 with the vision of creating holistic and future-proof charging infrastructure solutions and thus actively advancing electromobility in Germany. For over nine years, Brodführer shaped the development of eliso and set the course for further growth. Under his leadership, the company evolved from a start-up into an emerging player in the industry.

Niels Christ is succeeded by an experienced industry expert. Most recently, Niels Christ served as authorized signatory and Group Director at the APCOA Group. Christ also initiated the APCOA Group’s strategic Urban Hubs initiative, which advanced Europe-wide partnerships in the areas of mobility, logistics, and charging infrastructure. “The widespread provision of connected charging infrastructure plays a key role in the electrification of smart cities and mobility in general,” says Christ. “I’m very much looking forward to contributing to this with eliso and am full of enthusiasm for the new challenge.”
