The expert jury of the eMove360° Award for Electric & Autonomous Mobility nominated the most innovative and future-oriented mobility submissions from more than 30 entries. The judges selected three companies as winners in the Battery & Powertrain, Autonomous Vehicle, and special Electric Utility Vehicle categories. The category winners were honored in the exclusive ambience of the Holiday Inn Munich Westpark on October 14. The all-electric Karsan e-ATAK won the Autonomous Vehicle category. Nurdan Derman, International Regional Sales Manager, and Dr. Orhan Dönmez, Chief R&D Officer, jointly accepted the trophy. And this is what convinced the jury: The KARSAN Autonomous e-ATAK is a Level 4, factory-configured, all-electric bus developed by Karsan and ADASTEC. It supports driverless operation in mixed traffic using LiDAR, radar, and AI-assisted control systems. With a range of 300 km (BMW battery), a top speed of 55 km/h, and a capacity of 52 passengers, it is the first homologated, fully automated bus in series production. It is already being used in real-life public transport in 12 projects across Europe and the US, including tunnel navigation and campus use. www.karsan.com
