Munich, September 2017 – The expert jury of the newly launched eMove360° Award for Electric Mobility & Autonomous Driving have nominated the finalists. In the categories „Mobility Concepts & Software“, „Energy Storage“, „Charging Infrastructure”, „Powertrain”, „Automated Driving and „Electric Vehicle“ the jury members have chosen the most promising and forward thinking applications as nominees. The category winners will be announced among the selected 23 companies and organizations in the official award ceremony in the festive setting of the Munich Glyptothek. It will be held on the night before the opening of eMove360° Europe 2017 – International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 – electric – connected – autonomous (October 17-19, 2017, Messe München).
“With our trade fair we merge the two big future issues of the automotive industry – electric mobility as well as automated and eventually autonomous driving – and we reflect this development now in our award. The New Mobility is not only about vehicles, drivetrain technology and charging infrastructure but increasingly about software, apps and the general progress of the digitalization in our society. I am very happy that we have seen a few very intelligent submissions in these areas”, said Robert Metzger, Managing Director of MunichExpo and organizer of both the trade fair and the award.

The award and the gala-night will be supported by celebrity ambassadors such as the German actor, author and documentary filmmaker Hannes Jaenicke, TV journalist and author Nina Ruge, German actrice Nadeschda Brennicke as well as singer and entertainer Tobey Wilson.
