WorldAutoSteel will be presenting its Steel E-Motive project at eMove360° Europe 2024 from 15 to 17 October at The Westin Grand Hotel Munich (Stand B19). This underlines WorldAutoSteel’s vision of driving forward the development of sustainable, autonomous ride-sharing vehicles. Steel E-Motive (SEM) is a body concept for autonomous electric vehicles that aims to demonstrate the performance and durability of steel bodies for ride-sharing vehicles. The concept is the result of a three-year project led by WorldAutoSteel in partnership with Ricardo plc, which aims to develop one of the world’s first car bodies for battery electric, fully autonomous vehicles. It is tailored to applications in the Mobility-as-a-Service sector and meets key cost, sustainability and performance targets. The results of the project were published in 2023
The three-day eMove360° Future Mobility Conference 2024 will take place alongside the exhibition. A high-calibre networking meeting with the industry’s top decision-makers for electric and autonomous mobility. Experts from BMW, Bosch, DLRG, Eberspächer, Sixt, Vattenfall & Co. will speak about ground-breaking technologies and market trends. Join the presentation of the Steel E-Motive project by George Coates, Technical Director of WorldAutoSteel, followed by a short Q&A session in the Driving the future – Trends for your business in Electric & Autonomous Mobility session on the first day of the conference and exhibition (15 October) at 11:20 am.
