Spoilt by the sun, Christina and Rainer Müller’s hotel is located just outside the village of Grän, surrounded by greenery: the gourmet hotel Sonnenhof in the picturesque Tannheimer Tal. Just recently, the two chefs and brothers Patrick and Rainer Müller were awarded four forks by Falstaff for their outstanding cuisine – an honour that is not bestowed on many restaurants in Tyrol. In the gourmet restaurant Alps & Ocean, the highlights include eight courses of blue fin tuna, saddle of venison and baba au rhum or sturgeon tartare, oyster leaves, char caviar from Carinthia, dill mayo, dill oil and beurre blanc. Gault Millau also recognised the culinary masterpieces of the two brothers and awarded the in-house gourmet restaurant Das Müllers with 2 toques and the gourmet restaurant Alps & Ocean with 3 toques. It was also recognised by ‘A la Carte’ with 88 points and 4 stars. ‘The fourth fork confirms our efforts to offer our guests not only a first-class holiday with wellness offers, but also a unique culinary experience.
