Today we present a newcomer in Madrid: The four-star Grupotel Mayorazgo is centrally located on Gran Vía, Madrid’s famous boulevard, and is the ideal starting point for a sightseeing or business trip. Highlights include individually designed themed rooms, a specialty restaurant and a rooftop terrace with views over the metropolis and its own charging stations. A stroll along the Gran Via not only reveals numerous boutiques and restaurants, but also buildings of different architectural styles, such as the Metropolis building with its gold-decorated dome or the Edificio Carrión with its Schweppes neon sign, reminiscent of New York’s Flatiron Building. The famous Plaza de España, the Royal Palace and the Museo del Prado national museum are also within walking distance. The 200 individually furnished rooms are inspired by Madrid’s sights, personalities and customs. For example, the Puerta de Alcalá monument or the city’s cable car adorn the walls. The hotel’s own specialty restaurant GastroVía 61 offers home-made Madrilenian dishes, cocktails and live piano music in the Retiro Bar. Five modular rooms with capacities from 15 to 150 people are available for meetings and congresses. In addition, the roof terrace can be transformed into an atmospheric location for small receptions or weddings on request. Thanks to the hotel’s own parking garage and electric charging station, arriving by car is also no problem.
