FIAT increases registration numbers by more than 65 percent – FIAT 500 Electric triples

  • The Federal Motor Transport Authority reports a 65.5 percent increase for FIAT in the first quarter compared to 2025[1].
  • Registrations of the Fiat 500 Electric have more than tripled.
  • Financing starting at €149 per month, according to the website

FIAT was among the fastest-growing brands on the German market in the first quarter of the year. In its latest statistics, the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) reports a 65.5 percent increase for the Italian brand compared to the same period last year. FIAT thus grew significantly faster than the overall market, for which the KBA calculated a 5.2 percent increase over the quarter.

A significant portion of this positive result was due to the increased interest among German customers in the Fiat 500 Electric (energy consumption 13.0–14.9 kWh/100 km; CO2 emissions 0 g/km, CO2 class A*). More than three times as many units of the iconic small car with 100 percent electric drive were sold compared to the first three months of 2025: the growth rate was 243 percent. Overall, FIAT’s market share in the German market grew by 0.9 percentage points to 2.4 percent.
