First Suzuki electric vehicle, the VITARA, launches at prices starting at €29,990

  • Fully electric B-SUV now available to configure and order
  • Classic Suzuki expertise transferred to the age of electric mobility
  • First deliveries at the beginning of 2026

The new Suzuki e VITARA is now available to order at prices starting at €29,990. The Japanese brand’s first fully electric model is available in two battery versions and three trim levels, bringing Suzuki’s core competencies in compact, all-wheel-drive vehicles into the age of electric mobility.

Produced at Suzuki’s Gujarat plant in India, the e VITARA is based on the “HEARTECT-e” platform developed specifically for battery-electric models. It combines low weight with a highly rigid structure, offers optimum protection for the high-voltage battery, and creates the conditions for a generously dimensioned interior. In terms of flexibility, the e VITARA benefits, for example, from its versatile rear seat: it can be folded down separately in a 40:20:40 ratio and slid forward by 16 cm – depending on whether more space is needed in the trunk or more comfort for the rear passengers.

Three drive versions and a range of up to 426 kilometers

A total of three drive variants are available. The entry-level model features a 49 kWh battery combined with a 106 kW/144 hp electric motor and front-wheel drive (combined energy consumption: 14.9 kWh/100 km; combined CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km). The larger battery has a capacity of 61 kWh and is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Here, a 128 kW/174 hp electric motor always operates on the front axle (combined energy consumption: 16.6-15.1 kWh/100km; combined CO₂ emissions: 0 g/km). The ALLGRIP-e all-wheel-drive version features an additional motor on the rear axle, which delivers an extra 48 kW/65 hp; the system output of the all-wheel-drive variant is 135 kW/183 hp.

Depending on the drive version, the new e VITARA can travel up to 426 kilometers on a single battery charge. At DC fast-charging stations, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 45 minutes; for charging at AC stations and wall boxes, the e VITARA has a 3-phase 11 kW AC on-board charger.

Extensive standard equipment

The new e VITARA is available in Germany in the three familiar trim levels: Club, Comfort, and Comfort+. Even the entry-level Club (starting at €29,990, only in combination with a 49 kWh battery) offers comprehensive standard equipment and is available for an attractive monthly leasing rate starting at €279.00*. The fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and the central 10.1-inch multimedia display form a state-of-the-art user interface for the infotainment and navigation system, and smartphones can be connected via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior mirror is automatically dimming, and the exterior mirrors are electrically adjustable and foldable. Front and rear parking sensors and a rearview camera make maneuvering in tight spaces easier. High-quality 18-inch alloy wheels and tinted rear windows give the e VITARA a stylish appearance.

The Comfort trim (starting at $36,490) already includes the larger 61 kWh battery. The additional features compared to the Club version provide more comfort on colder days. These include heated front seats and warm air circulation to the rear; the steering wheel, exterior mirrors, and parts of the windshield are also heated.

The top-of-the-range Comfort+ trim (from €40,490) leaves nothing to be desired in terms of comfort and technology. The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable in ten ways, a glass roof with sunblind bathes the interior in natural light, and the Infinity Premium Sound System with eight speakers and a subwoofer provides an impressive sound experience. The equipment also includes a wireless charging cradle for smartphones, an adaptive high-beam assistant, a 360-degree camera, fog lights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The surcharge for the ALLGRIP-e all-wheel drive is €3,000 (Comfort) or €2,500 (Comfort+). Other extras include metallic paint (€890) and two-tone paint (€400). The first vehicles will be delivered at the beginning of 2026.
