Google Gemini coming to all Polestar models
Polestar is integrating Google Gemini, the new AI voice assistant, into all models from Polestar 2 onwards. The update will be provided via Google. Polestar and Google are giving a first glimpse of Gemini with a demo in the Polestar 5 at the Slush tech conference. According to Sid Odedra (Head of UI/UX), Gemini takes voice interaction in cars to a new level. The assistant enables more natural conversations, follow-up questions, and features such as “Hey Google, let’s talk.” It will replace the previous Google Assistant in all Polestar vehicles in the future. Google Product Director Haris Ramic emphasizes the long-standing collaboration with Polestar and is excited about the premiere at Slush (November 19–20, 2025, in Helsinki), where visitors can test Gemini in the Polestar 5. Gemini will be available to Polestar drivers starting in 2026, initially in US English.
