KATHREIN eMobility presents a newly developed charging station solution that not only offers reliable charging for electric vehicles, but also integrates a comprehensive, end-to-end, legally compliant payment option for contactless payments using debit, credit, or Google/Apple Pay. Payment via charging card or QR code is also possible without restrictions. The solution is aimed primarily at municipalities, charging point operators, and providers in the e-mobility sector who rely on certified technology, seamless billing, and a future-proof infrastructure. A major plus: Since the beginning of June, the implementation of the solution has been actively supported by a new funding program in Bavaria. This creates attractive investment incentives – especially for operators who want to scale their charging infrastructure while simultaneously meeting legal requirements.
These are the highlights of the innovative charging solution:
• Publicly accessible, end-to-end, legally certified charging park solution for AC and DC charging stations from a wide range of manufacturers
• Integrated, user-friendly contactless payment function (including debit and credit cards, Google and Apple Pay)
• Full transparency and traceability for the charging user through digital receipt management, including relevant charging data
• Modularly expandable for different locations, integration of different backends via OCPI interface
• Applicable to the “Bavaria 2.0” funding call for publicly accessible charging infrastructure
