This is the last call for the MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award 2026. Last application deadline August 31, 2026
Every year, leading companies, innovative start-ups and research institutions use the MATERIALICA Award to showcase their latest developments in materials, products, manufacturing processes and sustainability. This year BASF, Gealan, Ink Invert, Mercedes-Benz, Pitaka, Zollern and many others did apply already.
Recent winners include companies such as like BASF, Buck, ottobock, Mercedes-Benz, Rökona, Thermolysis, Hanseo University, ergoCentric, and ContiTech. Their award-winning innovations have gained international visibility through media coverage, social media communication, the award yearbook and presentations to industry experts.
What makes the MATERIALICA Award unique is its position at the intersection of materials, design and technology. An independent jury consisting of renowned experts from industry, science and design evaluates all submissions. Jury members include representatives from Audi, TÜV Süd, Technical University of Munich, University of Bayreuth, Bayern Innovativ and other leading institutions.
