The Fiat E-Ducato Cargo Box van model marks the world premiere of the FIAT Professional CustomFit factory conversion and customization program. The Cargo Box, which will be available from October 2024, is the first model in a future, versatile range of conversion options. Also included in the program are single- and three-way tippers and the crew van configuration, which offers space for additional passengers while still providing a large cargo space.
The Fiat E-Ducato Cargo Box is manufactured at the Atessa plant in Italy and offers a loading volume of 18.3 cubic meters and an interior with dimensions of 4,230 millimeters long, 2,032 mm wide and 2,150 mm high. For customers who need even more cargo space, the new Fiat E-Ducato Cargo Box will also be available in the L4 length. With an interior length of 4,500 mm and a height of 2,300 mm, the loading volume increases to up to 20.5 cubic meters.
The Fiat E-Ducato Cargo Box is based on the chassis with electric drive. This provides a maximum torque of 410 Newton meters and an output of 200 kW (equivalent to 270 hp). In conjunction with a 110 kWh battery, the Fiat E-Ducato Cargo Box becomes a powerful and efficient transporter. Alternatively, turbodiesels with 104 kW (140 hp) or 132 kW (180 hp) output are also available. These engines can be combined with manual or automatic transmissions.
The new Fiat E-Ducato Cargo Box is offered with rear wing doors as standard and optionally with a tailgate. The cargo area is equipped as standard with a non-slip wooden floor protection, aluminum floor strips, a ceiling light with motion detection and a profile strip for securely fastening objects in the cargo area.
To further adapt the vehicle to different tasks and purposes, a wide range of optional equipment is available for the Cargo Box. These include a storage box above the cabin for 1.5 cubic meters of additional cargo space, a side door and a tail lift for the versions with wing doors.
