Innovative materials and manufacturing processes often remain invisible—even though they make lighter, more efficient, more sustainable and better-designed products possible.
The MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award brings these achievements into the spotlight.
Previous award-winning innovations have come from companies such as Mercedes-Benz AG, BASF, Surventis (formerly BASF Coatings), ContiTech, RÖKONA Textilwerk GmbH & Co. KG and Schaeffler — demonstrating the wide range of developments emerging at the intersection of materials, engineering, design and sustainability.
Now we are looking for the next outstanding innovations.
Applications are open in the categories: ▪ Material ▪ Product ▪ Process ▪ CO₂-Efficiency ▪ Student
An independent expert jury evaluates the submissions according to criteria including technological performance, innovation, design quality, sustainability and economic potential.
Finalists and winners benefit from international visibility across the eMove360° network, editorial coverage and presentation in connection with eMove360° Europe 2026.
The award ceremony will take place on October 13, 2026, in Munich.
Application deadline: July 31, 2026
