The Mazda6e combines a coupé-like design with a high-quality, Japanese-style interior and a high level of functionality. For example, the large tailgate offers particularly easy access to the saloon’s 466-litre luggage compartment. The TAKUMI level already impresses with an almost complete range of comfort and technology features. Standard features on board include a state-of-the-art user interface with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, a 14.6-inch touchscreen in the centre console and a large head-up display (HUD).
Electrically adjustable, heated and air-conditioned front seats with memory function for the driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a Sony sound system with 14 speakers including speakers in the front headrests, a wireless smartphone charging station, smartphone integration via wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, a dark-tinted panoramic glass roof, an electrically operated tailgate, a 360° monitor and LED headlights are among the other highlights of the standard equipment. The TAKUMI PLUS trim also offers a further refined, predominantly light brown interior ambience and an electric sunblind for the panoramic glass roof.
Two engine and battery variants are available to power the Mazda6e EV. The Mazda6e EV has an electric motor with 190 kW/258 hp and 320 Nm of torque as well as a battery capacity of 68.8 kWh, which enables a total range of 479 km (combined). The Mazda6e EV Long Range is equipped with an 80 kWh battery that offers a total range of 552 km (combined). The electric motor delivers an output of 180 kW/245 hp and a maximum torque of 320 Nm.
As with all new vehicles, Mazda also offers an above-average new car warranty of six years for the new Mazda6e. The Mazda 6-year new car warranty, which is limited to a maximum total mileage of 150,000 km, is a manufacturer’s warranty and covers the repair or replacement of the affected part in the event of material or manufacturing defects. Wear parts are excluded from this. In addition, the Mazda6e offers an eight-year warranty on the high-voltage battery3 (max. total mileage 160,000 km) to a minimum capacity of 70 per cent of the original battery capacity. The new Mazda6e is now available to order in Germany. Prices start at 44,900 euros for the TAKUMI trim with a 68.8 kWh battery and a range of 479 kilometres.
