With an exclusively electric model range, MINI is officially entering the Pakistani market in 2026. Rather than first establishing conventional models and gradually adding electric vehicles, the brand is taking a clear approach from the outset: MINI is launching in Pakistan with a new generation of fully electric cars.
The partner for the market entry is Dewan Motors, the long-standing importer of the BMW Group in Pakistan. The company already represents BMW in the country and provides MINI with an established sales and service network.
The electric portfolio covers three different vehicle concepts. The fully electric MINI Cooper transfers the classic MINI idea of compact dimensions and agile handling into the new model generation. The MINI Aceman adds an electric crossover to the premium small-car segment, while the MINI Countryman Electric offers more space, greater range and optional all-wheel drive.
The launch is accompanied by the opening of a new joint BMW and MINI showroom in Karachi. Designed according to the BMW Group’s “Retail.Next” concept, the location combines digital touchpoints with personal customer service. MINI locations are also available in Islamabad and Lahore, giving the brand a local presence in Pakistan’s major metropolitan areas. “The MINI market launch in Pakistan and the brand’s return to Jordan are important milestones on our journey,” says Jean-Philippe Parain, Head of MINI. According to Parain, the aim is to bring the combination of iconic design, digital innovation and the characteristic MINI go-kart feeling to new markets while helping to shape the urban mobility of tomorrow.
The move into Pakistan is particularly noteworthy because MINI is not entering the country with lower-priced combustion-engine models before gradually introducing electrification. Instead, the brand is positioning itself from day one with three fully electric premium models. In doing so, MINI is testing how much potential electric premium mobility already has in an emerging market where the relevant customer base is concentrated primarily in major cities.
As part of its broader international expansion, MINI is also returning to Jordan in August 2026.
