Mobility of the future
In the future, intelligently controlled and autonomously operating fleets of vehicles can help to reduce the vehicle load in cities, thereby saving CO2 and – through demand-oriented scheduling – connecting rural and suburban areas with city centers. Autonomous driving will
help make the mobility of tomorrow safer, more efficient and more comfortable. Let us introduce you to ZF’s shuttle solution: It offers space for up to 22 passengers and is suitable for public transport as well as for use at airports or on parking and campus areas. With an 85 kW electric drive, a battery capacity of up to 37 kWh and a localization system with magnetic reference points, the shuttle can reach a speed of up to 40 km/h and is therefore able to operate effectively in urban traffic. Increasing deployment of such systems offers the
opportunity not only to counteract congestion and emissions – this new mobility also enables better use of urban space, improving the quality of life for all.

Geschäftsführer ZF Mobility Solutions GmbH, München Eine Tochter der ZF Friedrichshafen AG Michael Hoffmann startete seine Karriere 2004 bei der ZF Getriebe GmbH im Key Account Management für Automatikgetriebe, verantwortlich für verschiedene internationale OEM. Im Weiteren war Michael Hoffmann für Akquise von neuen Kunden, Projekten und Kooperationen in Asien / Pazifik zuständig. Als Vice President Sales hat Michael Hoffmann strategische Kunden der ZF Friedrichshafen AG im Bereich Powertrain betreut und weiterentwickelt. Seit September 2020 leitet Michael Hoffmann als Geschäftsführer die ZF Mobility Solutions GmbH in München. Die ZF Mobility Solutions ist eine Tochter der ZF Friedrichshafen AG und bietet Mobilitätslösungen bestehend aus Fahrzeugen, Operating Systems und Servicekonzepten für Personen- und Güterverkehr sowie vergleichbare Anwendungen auf dem Gebiet des autonomen Fahrens in sämtlichen Automatisierungsstufen an. Dazu gehören die Erbringung von Dienstleistungen, insbesondere Entwicklungs- und
Servicedienstleistungen, auf dem Gebiet neuer Mobilitätskonzepte und -lösungen sowie alle hiermit im Zusammenhang stehenden Tätigkeiten.
