The next generation of technological innovation will be built on the next generation of materials.
NMNM Advanced Materials is developing and commercializing advanced functional materials such as MXenes, Layered Double Hydroxides (LDHs) and Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) — material classes that are attracting growing attention across industries ranging from energy storage and hydrogen technologies to environmental engineering and electronics.
Among them, MXenes are considered one of the most promising families of two-dimensional materials. Their exceptional electrical conductivity and processability make them highly attractive for batteries, supercapacitors and electromagnetic shielding applications. LDHs and MOFs complement this portfolio with significant potential in catalysis, CO₂ capture, hydrogen storage, water treatment and advanced sensor systems.
The innovative material portfolio earned NMNM Advanced Materials a place among the finalists of the MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award 2025. Selected by an international expert jury, finalists represent some of the most innovative developments at the intersection of materials, design and technology.
As industries worldwide search for more sustainable and efficient solutions, advanced materials such as MXenes, LDHs and MOFs are expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping the technologies of tomorrow.
