NIO x CORPUS DELICTI
NIO is the mobility partner for the film adaptation of Juli Zeh’s bestseller “Corpus Delicti.” In the film’s vision of the future, the NIO ET5 takes on an unusual supporting role: it accompanies the main character, Mia Holl—played by Hannah Herzsprung—through the dystopian world. The ET5 is the only vehicle featured in the film.
The electric car’s futuristic design is intended to blend seamlessly into the film’s visual style. The production team at Wiedemann & Berg Film therefore specifically approached NIO. For NIO Germany, the partnership also represents a commitment to Germany as a cultural hub—and especially to Munich, where the company operates its Global Design Center.
This week NIO also was continuing its partnership at the premieres in Berlin on September (14th) and in Munich on September (15th). The ET7 will be used there as a shuttle vehicle for the cast. “Corpus Delicti” opens in German theaters on October 1, 2026. The film adaptation of Juli Zeh’s novel was produced by Wiedemann & Berg Film and will be released in theaters by LEONINE Studios.
