NVIDIA and LG Group are joining forces to build an advanced AI factory designed to accelerate AI-driven innovation across robotics, autonomous driving, manufacturing, cloud services and data center technologies.
The collaboration combines NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure, digital twin technologies and robotics platforms with LG’s expertise in consumer electronics, mobility, industrial automation and energy systems.
A key focus is the development of so-called physical AI — intelligent systems that can interact with and understand the real world. Using NVIDIA Isaac robotics technologies, LG plans to train and validate home robots and industrial automation systems in realistic virtual environments before deployment.
The companies also aim to create highly autonomous manufacturing ecosystems in which procurement, production, logistics and delivery are connected through real-time data and AI.
In the mobility sector, LG Electronics will further align its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), software-defined vehicle technologies and in-vehicle AI platforms with NVIDIA DRIVE. Future applications include AI-powered cockpits, autonomous driving functions and edge AI processing.
The partnership also extends to next-generation AI data centers, energy infrastructure and sovereign AI development through LG AI Research’s EXAONE large language model.
The announcement highlights how AI is rapidly expanding beyond software applications and becoming a core technology for robotics, mobility, manufacturing and industrial infrastructure.
