Personnel: Lars Bialkowski also responsible for Benelux countries

BYD has also appointed Lars Bialkowski, Country Manager of BYD Germany, to the position of Regional Director for the markets of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (Benelux). With this decision, BYD is strengthening its presence in Western Europe and focusing on a close, uniform market strategy in the region and the Benelux countries. By bundling responsibilities under one leadership, synergies in sales, marketing, and customer service will be exploited more efficiently and the growth strategy will be implemented consistently.

“I am delighted about the trust BYD has placed in me and about my expanded new responsibilities for the Benelux region,” says Lars Bialkowski. “Our goal is to further strengthen electric mobility and our leading plug-in hybrid technology throughout Europe and to bring innovative, sustainable solutions closer to our customers – from pure electric vehicles to our super hybrids.”

With this personnel decision, BYD is sending a clear signal regarding the strategic importance of the European markets. The goal is the continuous expansion of its sustainable mobility solutions. The company is thus underscoring not only its leading position in the field of electric mobility, but also its technological pioneering role in plug-in hybrids. Most recently, BYD introduced innovative super hybrids in the SEAL 6 DM-i TOURING and ATTO 2, among others. The brand’s new models take efficiency, performance, and everyday usability to a new level.
