SEAT Germany: Alexander Buk replaces Bernhard Bauer as Managing Director

Change of management at the SEAT Deutschland GmbH: Alexander Buk takes over the position of Managing Director on October 1. He has been responsible for sales at the company for the past four years and succeeds Bernhard Bauer, who will take on a relevant global position at CUPRA in the future. His exact role will be announced shortly. Previously, Bernhard Bauer headed SEAT Deutschland GmbH for exactly ten years. Under his leadership, the company developed into the second-strongest importer in Germany with the SEAT and CUPRA brands.

“Over the past ten years, Bernhard Bauer has established the German market as a benchmark, particularly in terms of volume and turnover for our company. Under his leadership, SEAT has achieved continuous growth and he has successfully positioned CUPRA as the fastest growing brand in Germany,” says Wayne Griffiths, CEO of SEAT and CUPRA. “Alexander Buk has proven over the past years that he is more than qualified for this position. He enjoys my full confidence and I am confident that he will accept this new challenge and continue the successful path of both brands in Germany.”
