Porsche: Continuation of the generational change in the Executive Board

On 19 August 2025, Vera Schalwig will assume responsibility for Human Resources and Social Affairs at Porsche AG. She succeeds Andreas Haffner. At the same time, Joachim Scharnagl will take over the Procurement department from Barbara Frenkel. Schalwig is currently responsible for Human Resources at Porsche AG’s headquarters in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, while Scharnagl is Head of Procurement New Vehicle Projects and Supplier Management. On 1 July, Dr Michael Steiner (60) will also take on the role of Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. He has been the Board Member for Research and Development since 2016. In this context, he is handing over the management of Group Development in the Volkswagen Group.

They have played a decisive role in shaping the successful development of Porsche during their time in office.”
