Renault Group: Duncan Minto becomes interim CEO

Duncan Minto was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Renault S.A. by the Renault Group Board of Directors on July 15, initially on an interim basis until the position is permanently filled. Currently CFO of the Renault Group, Duncan Minto will oversee the day-to-day management of the company alongside Jean-Dominique Senard, who will assume the position of Chairman of Renault S.A.S., the Group’s operating company, during this period.

Duncan Minto, born in 1975, graduated from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He joined the Renault Group in the United Kingdom in 1997. In 2001, he moved to the Group’s Finance Department in France, where he was responsible for Investor Relations. In 2006, he was appointed Finance Director of Renault-Nissan Portugal before becoming Managing Director of Renault Ireland in 2012. In 2013, he assumed the position of CFO for the Asia-Pacific region of the Group. In 2017, Duncan Minto was promoted to Vice President Finance, Group Control Analysis. In 2022, he became CFO of Dacia, before becoming CFO of the Alpine brand in 2023. On March 1, 2025, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Renault Group and a member of the executive team. The selection process for the permanent appointment of the CEO of Renault S.A. is already well advanced and is being overseen by the Governance and Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors.
