For years, the members of the Austrian Electromobility Association (BEÖ) have been investing in the expansion of the public charging infrastructure with charging capacities from 11 kilowatts (kW) to 350 kW. To make it even easier to search for the nearest charging station, BEÖ makes the charging network available online on its website: All public charging stations in Austria can be called up on a daily basis at beoe.at/roamingnetz and supplemented with additional information such as operator, plug type, charging capacity and availability. There are 14,500 charging connections in Austria – more than petrol stations – of which 7,500 charging points are in our roaming network,” says Andreas Reinhardt, Chairman of the Federal Association for Electromobility Austria (BEÖ).
