How will artificial intelligence change the way vehicles and their key systems are engineered?
At eMove360° Europe 2026, Roberto Diesel, Vice President Mobility and Energy Systems at EDAG, will provide insights into the next stage of digital automotive development.
His presentation “From Automated Development of Subsystems to AI-Orchestrated Engineering” takes place on October 14, from 10:40 to 11:00 am, as part of the Battery Technology & AI session.
The presentation explores how engineering is evolving beyond the automation of individual development tasks. Modular workflows for batteries, electric drives and power electronics can increasingly be enhanced by AI – for example in requirements analysis or the extraction of knowledge from regulatory documents.
The next step is even more ambitious: transforming these modules into collaborating AI agents and ultimately orchestrating them within multi-agent engineering systems capable of planning, reasoning and executing complex development tasks.
Roberto Diesel will also take part in the subsequent Battery Technology & AI discussion panel, contributing EDAG’s perspective to the broader discussion about how artificial intelligence and digitalisation are reshaping automotive engineering.
Meet Roberto Diesel and leading experts from the international mobility industry at eMove360° Europe 2026, October 13–14, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Munich-Westpark.
