Hamburg, December 11, 2025 – Shell is now offering members of the German Taxi and Rental Car Association (BVTM) exclusive special rates for electric mobility and conventional fuels. This move underscores Shell’s partnership with the BVTM and supports the industry in the mobility transition.
Specifically, Shell is introducing two customized models: the Professional tariff and the Business tariff. The Professional tariff is aimed at drivers of electric vehicles who frequently charge on the road and expect particularly attractive kWh prices. The Business tariff is ideal for companies whose vehicles are mainly charged at their own location and only occasionally charged on the road – with a focus on low basic fees.
Contract partners also benefit from attractive advantages for conventional fuels, including discounts on diesel and gasoline at Shell stations and at our partners. In addition, there are further discounts on services such as the CarWash program and lubricant products.
“With the new models, we want to make it easier for taxi and rental car companies to switch to electric mobility while offering attractive solutions for conventional fleets,” says Melanie Falkenstern, Head of Shell Fleet Solutions DACH.
Customers benefit from user-friendly handling and flexible payment options – whether via the Shell app, with a charging card, or contactless. Business customers – such as taxi companies – also have access to the Shell Card, which they can use not only to charge electricity but also to continue refueling with fuel. Electric vehicle drivers can use the Shell Card to charge at more than 195,000 public charging points in Germany.
Shell is continuously investing in the expansion of its Shell Recharge ultra-fast charging network. With 1,900 Recharge fast charging points in Germany, the company now offers comprehensive coverage for electric vehicles – ideal for taxi and rental car companies that rely on electric mobility.
