Skoda Peaq
With the Peaq, Škoda is opening a new chapter in its electric mobility strategy. The all-electric SUV, set to launch in mid-2026, is positioned as the brand’s new flagship – and a clear signal for the expansion of its electric portfolio in the upper segment.
Based on the Vision 7S concept study, the Peaq combines generous dimensions with everyday usability: a range of more than 600 kilometres is expected on a single charge. With up to seven seats and a length of around 4.9 metres, the model is aimed primarily at families and long-distance drivers seeking uncompromising electric mobility.
At the heart of the concept is a core brand promise: maximum space. The Peaq not only offers the largest interior, but also the biggest luggage capacity in Škoda’s current model range. This is complemented by comfort features that feel more like a lounge than a traditional vehicle – including ergonomic massage seats, leg rests and an integrated wellness app.
“The Škoda Peaq is designed for everyday use – for families who need space and for drivers seeking confidence on long journeys,” says CEO Klaus Zellmer. “As our next flagship, it takes the Škoda brand to a new level.”
From a design perspective, the model also marks a significant evolution. The new “Modern Solid” design language focuses on clarity, functionality and a strong presence. “The character of the Škoda Peaq is defined by clarity, simplicity and a clear focus on functionality and space,” explains Head of Design Oliver Stefani. The aim is to further sharpen the brand identity and attract new customer groups.
Technologically, the Peaq is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform and will be available in several performance variants. In addition to fast charging, it offers features such as bidirectional charging and vehicle-to-load, positioning it as part of an increasingly connected energy ecosystem.
With the Peaq, Škoda demonstrates where it is heading: more space, more comfort and greater everyday usability for electric mobility – packaged in a vehicle that aims to lead the brand into a new era.
