Experienced and dynamic leader and entrepreneur with a proven track record in research and development (R&D) within the automotive sector, specializing in electric vehicles, energy systems, and advanced technology integration. Currently serving as Vice President of Energy Systems and Drivetrain at EDAG Engineering GmbH, I lead the establishment and growth of innovative business units, focusing on new technologies.
Under my leadership, engineering efficiency has increased by 21% and I have successfully built and led high performing national and international teams to execute complex vehicle development programs
With a strong background in managing high-performing teams across international markets, I have been instrumental in defining strategies that align with corporate goals and emerging market trends. My expertise also encompasses project management, agile methodologies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, driving projects from concept through production.
Proven with the successful execution of an overall project to develop an EV platform for China in just 34 months, resulting in a high double-digit profit. I also initiated a shift towards digital simulative development processes with a focus on customer solutions. Time to market beats all.
I have held key positions, vehicle program manager, project director for all kinds of industry projects and changes as well as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at major automotive companies, including Adam Opel AG and Sono Motors GmbH, where I led the development and launch of new vehicle platforms, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. As a passionate advocate for innovation and sustainability, I continuously seek to integrate new technologies, such as AI and machine learning, into mobility services.
