“Compact” – Stecker
The start-up Brugg eConnect AG is active in electromobility in the field of high power charging and sets new standards in terms of safety and robustness with the “Compact” charging plug. The “Compact” charging plug is the first plug in the world to be IP69 certified. This means that our world innovation meets the highest technically feasible standard of all and is therefore resistant to hydrolysis, microbes, UV and ozone. The connector owes its special robustness to its housing, which is injection-molded with thermoplastic polyurethane directly around the contact points and on to the cable sheath. Since the plug is made of material throughout, the housing can even be rolled over by a truck without being damaged.
Das Start Up Brugg eConnect AG ist in der Elektromobilität im Bereich High Power Charging tätig und setzt mit dem «Compact»-Ladestecker neue Massstäbe in Bezug auf Sicherheit und Robustheit. Der «Compact»-Ladestecker ist der erste Stecker weltweit, der IP69-zertifiziert ist. Das bedeutet, dass unsere Weltneuheit die höchste technisch umsetzbare Norm überhaupt erfüllt und damit Hydrolysen-, Mikroben- UV- sowie Ozonbeständig ist. Die besondere Robustheit verdankt der Stecker seinem Gehäuse, das mit thermo-plastischem Polyurethan direkt um die Kontaktstellen und auf den Kabelmantel gespritzt wird. Da der Stecker durchgehend aus Material besteht, kann das Gehäuse sogar von einem LKW überrollt werden, ohne Schaden zu nehmen.
