AIS – Aquaplaning Intelligent Solution
Easyrain has developed the first active safety system preventing accidents occurring in aquaplaning conditions using a water jet sprayed close to the front tires: Aquaplaning Intelligent Solution (AIS) offers immediate activa tion without driver intervention and high speed reaction time – less than 80 ms in emergency condition. AIS gets the water from the vehicle stand ard windshield tank. Improvements on vehicle dynamics are substantial: in dangerous wet road and aquaplaning conditions, AIS reduces stopping distance by more than 20 % at motorway speed and it helps the driver to easily perform avoidance maneuvers.
Easyrain hat das erste aktive Sicherheitssystem entwickelt, das Unfälle bei Aquaplaning verhindert, indem es einen Wasserstrahl in die Nähe der Vorderreifen sprüht: Die Aquaplaning Intelligent Solution (AIS) bietet eine sofortige Aktivierung ohne Eingreifen des Fahrers und eine sehr schnelle Reaktionszeit – weniger als 80 Meter im Notfall. AIS bezieht das Wasser aus dem serienmäßigen Windschutzscheibentank des Fahrzeugs. Die Verbesserungen der Fahrzeugdynamik sind beträchtlich: Bei gefährlicher nasser Fahrbahn und Aquaplaning verkürzt AIS den Bremsweg bei Autobahngeschwindigkeit um mehr als 20 % und hilft dem Fahrer, Ausweichmanöver problemlos durchzuführen.
