Due to the progressive electrifi cation of commercial vehicles, the task was to achieve a significant weight reduction in the area of frame attachments. Fender brackets, tanks, wiring harnesses, etc. are attached to the frame attachments. The highest load is in the connection from the forged flange to the vehicle frame. Until now, the components consisted of a forged flange and a steel tube.

Durch die fortschreitende Elektrifizierung von Nutzfahrzeugen war die Aufgabenstellung eine signifikante Gewichtsreduzierung im Bereich von Rahmenanbauteilen zu erreichen. An den Rahmenanbauteilen sind Kotflügelhalter, Tanks, Kabelstränge, usw. befestigt. Die höchste Belastung besteht in der Verbindung vom Schmiedeflansch zum Fahrzeugrahmen. Bisher bestanden die Bauteile aus einem geschmiedeten Flansch und einem Stahlrohr.
