RheoLight
RheoLight™ is the world’s first enabler of sensor-friendly automotive coating technology, developed to improve detectability for both human vision and machine vision. Based on proprietary Crystal Glass Pigment dispersions, RheoLight enables automotive coatings that preserve premium appearance while enhancing visibility for RGB cameras and LiDAR sensors without changing existing industrial coating processes. As vehicles increasingly rely on ADAS and autonomous sensing, RheoLight introduces Sensor Visibility as a new coating performance parameter. The complementary Visibility Label model, published in SAE International Journal, provides the first objective method to qualify and quantify coating detectability across humans, cameras and LiDAR.
Rheo Light
