Abundance of light

“Abundance of Light” implies diff erentiated, complementary material properties. Materials such as wool, paper yarn and recycled cellophane are used with sustainability in mind. These components are connected in a woven and knitted structure as a sandwich material. The individual parts of the surface
visually interlock. The loosely knitted ab side gives the material a voluminous feel and provides air pockets. Lanolin makes it particularly water-repellent and dill, Sweden’s national spice, gives it further multisensory properties. The material can be returned to the natural cycle in a multifunctional and
sustainability-oriented way.

„Abundance of Light“ bedeutet „Lichtfülle“ und impliziert damit differenzierte, sich ergänzende Materialeigenschaften. Materialien, wie Wolle, Papiergarn und recyceltes Zellophan werden unter dem Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeit verwendet. Diese Komponenten sind in einem Gewebe und Gestrick Gefüge als SandwichMaterial miteinander verbunden. Die einzelnen Teile der Fläche greifen visuell ineinander. Die locker gestrickte AbSeite verleiht dem Material eine voluminöse Haptik und sorgt für Lufteinschlüsse. Durch Lanolin ist es besonders wasserabweisend und erhält mit Dill, dem Nationalgewürz Schwedens, weitere multisinnliche Eigenschaften. Das Material lässt sich multifunktional und nachhaltigkeitsorientiert
dem natürlichen Kreislauf zurückführen.
