KOSTAD Steuerungsbau has been developing a new type of power module for DC charging of EV’s since 2017. The power module is characterized by a high degree of efficiency of > 96% and high power density of 1.6kW / dm³. The use and integration of „silicon carbide mosfets“ for direct current rapid charging represents a milestone in the future design and efficient operation of charging stations. This development enables the construction and operation of light, compact and cost-efficient DC charging stations for eMobility. The compactness also allows the DC charging infrastructure to be implemented in the form of wall boxes.
KOSTAD Steuerungsbau entwickelt seit 2017 ein neuartiges Leistungsmodul für die DC Ladung von Elektrofahrzeugen. Das Leistungsmodul zeichnet sich durch einen hohen Wirkungsgrad von >96% und einer hohen Leistungsdichte von 1,6kW/dm³ aus. Der Einsatz und die Integration von „Siliziumkarbid – Mosfets“ zur Gleichstromschnellladung stellt einen Meilenstein in der zukünftigen Gestaltung und im effizienten Betrieb von Ladestationen dar. Diese Entwicklung ermöglicht den Bau und Betrieb von leichten, kompakten und kosteneffizienten DC Ladestationen für die Elektromobilität. Die Kompaktheit erlaubt darüber hinaus,
dass eine DC Ladeinfrastruktur auch in Form von Wallboxen umgesetzt werden kann.
