Circuit Lamp
The Circuit Lamp was conceived in response to the question of how light can be activated through the shape of an object. Folding the lamp and fastening the snaps simultaneously create both the spatial structure and the flow of electricity. The lamp consists of a flexible, translucent base material into which LEDs, wires, and connecting elements are visibly integrated. Three separate circuits allow for different folds and lighting effects. The electronic components are intentionally part of the design. A printed circuit diagram and folding instructions explain how it works directly on the surface. The Circuit Lamp demonstrates a transferable design principle in which the circuit, form, and function are directly interconnected.
Circuit Lamp
