Re3kinned und ReVived
The combination of a unified, sustainable design of the backpack and the interior design of the car takes the goal of a closed-loop textile supply chain to a new level. The textile surfaces “Re3kinned” and “ReVived” are recycled out of returned clothing items. The textile “ReVived“ used for car seat surfaces, is woven from a yarn provided by TURNS containing a mix of old clothes (70 %) & PET bottles (30 %). “Re3kinned“ textile is upcycled from returned polo shirts and woven into a new textile surface in collaboration with the Prodia workshop for people with disabilities and could be used for the car
carpeting and headrest components.

Re3kinned und ReVived
Die Kombination aus einem einheitlichen, nachhaltigen Design des Rucksacks und dem Interior Design des Autos bringt das Ziel einer closed-loop textilen Kreislaufkette auf ein neues Level. Die Textilien „Re3kinned“ und „ReVived“ werden aus retournierten Kleidungsstücken recycelt. Das Textil „ReVived“, das für Autositzoberflächen verwendet wird, besteht aus einem von TURNS bereitgestellten Garn aus Altkleidern (70 %) & PET-Flaschen (30 %). Das Textil „Re3kinned“ wurde aus retournierten Polohemden in Zusammenarbeit mit der Prodia-Werkstatt für Menschen mit Behinderungen zu einer neuen Textiloberfläche gewebt, die für Autoteppiche und Kopfstützen verwendet werden könnte.
