Technotrans has once again received a follow-up order from a leading European electric bus manufacturer. The company is supplying battery thermal management systems (BTMS) for several e-bus series on an even larger scale than before. This time, the order volume is in the double-digit million euro range. The e-bus manufacturer is thus securing its total requirements for 2025 at an early stage. ‘This new major order strengthens our market position and demonstrates the confidence in our technology and performance,’ says Michael Finger, CEO of technotrans SE. ‘With this commitment, the customer is securing its requirements at an early stage – a clear sign of the strategic relevance of our solutions and our leading technological expertise.’
The new order follows on from an existing co-operation. The initial order in May of last year was one of the largest for technotrans in the road vehicle business. With another order from the renowned e-bus manufacturer in late summer 2024, technotrans consolidated its position as a reliable partner in electromobility. The collaboration is now being expanded further. As part of the e-bus manufacturer’s largest order to date, technotrans will continue to supply three production sites for electrified buses in France and the Czech Republic. The energy-efficient cooling systems ensure the reliable temperature control of the batteries and thus the safe operation of the electric buses. With this new major order, technotrans is further expanding its market position in electromobility and making an important contribution to the sustainable mobility of the future.
