Electric mobility is growing, but the expansion of the charging infrastructure must be driven forward. The German government has therefore adopted the Charging Infrastructure Master Plan 2030 to accelerate expansion and create a user-friendly, comprehensive charging network.
The plan comprises 41 measures in five areas:
Strengthening demand and investment
Simplifying and accelerating implementation
Promoting competition and price transparency
Improving integration into the power grid
Increasing user-friendliness and innovation
The master plan contributes to the achievement of climate protection goals and supports electric mobility as an important part of the transport transition. Concrete measures such as programs for charging points in apartment buildings and on highways are intended to stimulate demand and simplify implementation. In addition, transparent prices and fair allocation rules ensure a simpler charging experience that benefits both citizens and businesses. Source: Masterplan Ladeinfrastruktur 2030
